Ford Courier 2011 is a small coupe produced by Ford in Brazil. The car was also exported to Mexico. The base for the car is the 1998 Ford Fiesta. While it looks like a Ford Bantam coupe based on the Fiesta of South African production, it has a completely different passenger compartment. The South African version has short doors on a five-door hatchback and small square headlights in the style of large pick-ups with extended cabs. And the Brazilian version has three long doors and no square windows.
The car’s carrying capacity is 700 kg. Ford Courier 2011 used the engine Zetec Rocam volume of 1.6 liters. The model Mk V 1.6 had a top speed of 180 km / h and accelerates to 100 km / h in 10 seconds. Vehicle dimensions: wheelbase 2830 mm, length 4457 mm, width 1793 mm and height 1477 mm. Since 2013, the plant in Brazil has suspended production of the model for both ordinary consumers and business. As a result, Ford Ranger (T6) came to replace Courier.
