Ford Tourneo 2010 is produced at the Ford Otosan plant in Turkey. It looks quite modest, but at the same time stylish and modern. A wide doorway provides the most comfortable fit. The first one is standard with a standard roof, in which the length of the car is 4278 mm, the height is 1814 mm, and the body volume is 2.8 m³. The second is a long one with a high roof, with a length of 4525 mm, a height of 1981 mm and a body volume of 3.67 m³.
However the engineers of the company have found a method that will help raise the body volume figures to 3.41 and 4.36 m³, respectively. This is a folding front passenger seat. For convenience, the entire operation consists of two steps. First, the pillow reclines, and then the back folds flat with the floor of the load compartment. For those who do not need this option, it is proposed to replace such a universal version with a comfortable chair with adjustments in four directions. The rear row is able to transform in different versions. The seats are folded together and in parts. If necessary they could be completely removed from the car.
The ergonomics of the car is in line with the advanced positions that Ford have come up with. The driver’s seat has six adjustments. For the convenience of passengers in the front of the passenger cabin there are the steering column which is adjustable in the angle and height, there is a reclining armrest, a holder with a paper clip on the panel, a capacious “glovebox”, compartments in the doors, a special compartment for a cell phone and much more. There are follows equipment: air conditioning, electrical adjustment of large two-section (the lower section – for convenience of parking) mirrors, heated front and rear windows.
Using the passive and active safety the car is absolutely completed. In addition to the standard Air-Bag for the driver, you can order an airbag for the passenger and side curtains, ABS, traction control and rear disc brakes.
The engine range is represented by three units of the same volume. First is 1.8-liter petrol Duratec (115 hp, 160 Nm at 4,400 rpm). Second is turbo diesel Duratorq Tdi (75 hp, 175 Nm at 1800 rpm). And third is Turbo diesel Duratorq TDCi (90 hp, 220 Nm at 1700 rpm). All engines are equipped with five-speed manual transmissions with a “passenger” wingscreen, which further facilitates the life of the driver.
