Daihatsu Luxio 2010 is a compact minivan developed by Daihatsu company. Daihatsu Kogyo Co. Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Japanese company Toyota. Its headquarters is in Osaka.
Based on Daihatsu Gran Max, Luxio was invented to be the passenger version of it. It has a slightly wider and much taller body. And its appearance is different to Gran Max. The name Luxio came from the word “luxury”.
Luxio has engine like Daihatsu Terios, producing 109 PS (80 kW; 108 bhp) and 13.7 kg•m (134 N•m) of torque. The only difference between Luxio and Terios engine is the “hum” noise characteristic caused by lacking of insulation around the engine bay.
Daihatsu Luxio 2010 is a practicality and spaciousness, sufficient dynamic qualities and acceptable comfort.
