Maserati Ghibli 1990 was created in compliance with the requirements of the modern driver of a sports car, which craves not only speed, but also a comfortable ride. Particularly successful it combines the exquisite style, inherent in the Maserati brand, and excellent aerodynamic qualities.
Dimensions of the body were 4223/1775/1310 mm with a wheelbase of 2514 mm. The curb weight of the car is 1365 kg (with an automatic transmission – 1406 kg), the maximum is 1765 kg. The volume of the luggage compartment is 420 liters.

Maserati Ghibli 1990 has new V6 24V Biturbo engines with a double turbocharger of 1.996 liters (for the European market) and 2.8 liters (for US market). These motors had 2 upper camshafts for each row of cylinders, light alloy casing, fuel injection with electronic ignition control and were located longitudinally in front. The car with a 2-liter engine (280 hp) accelerated to “hundred” in 5.7 seconds and had a maximum speed of 249 km / h. The average consumption of gasoline was 12.7 – 12.9 liters per 100 km.
The car had a 5- or 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Maserati Ghibli 1990 was fitted with a fully independent suspension with electronically controlled four driving modes. The braking efficiency of Ghibli was provided by independent hydraulic drives with a servomotor, as well as ABS, used on the front and rear ventilated brake disks. The standard tire size is 205/50 R17. Production of Ghibli was finished in 1997. Its successor was the Maserati 3200 GT.
