Geo Tracker 1992 is an off-road vehicle that was produced from 1989 to 2004. Since in the beginning this model was produced by a Japanese company, in the beginning of production this SUV was called Suzuki Escudo (Vitara). Then it was renamed Geo Tracker. And only since 1996 it got its current name Chevrolet Tracker. The second modification of Chevrolet Tracker, which was released a little later, is a relative of Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The car was equipped with gasoline engines G16A, J20A, H20A, H25A, H27A and diesel RF. It has variants with both a mechanical and an automatic transmission. Initially, the only 3-door version was produced, on which a 1.6-liter in-line 4-cylinder SOHC engine was installed. There were three body types: hardtop, convertible top and van. However, a few later appeared and 5-door modification.
