The Zeekr company is not officially represented on the Russian market, which did not prevent it from breaking into the leaders in sales of electric vehicles. According to Autostat, 724 cars of this brand were sold in October. Moreover, the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X took the top two lines of the model rating, and the Zeekr 009 minivan entered the top ten. Now a fourth model will be added to this trio — the Zeekr 007 sedan.
The sedan with the spy index turned out to be large: 4865 mm in length, 1900 mm in width and 1450 in height. The wheelbase is 2928 mm. That is, in size, it turned out to be between the Tesla Model S and Model 3. Streamlined shapes, narrow strips of lighting equipment, frameless doors and hidden door handles — all this has already become familiar to Chinese electric vehicles. However, the design team of Geely Holding, led by former Audi and Bentley stylist Stefan Zilaff, found a way to distinguish the Zeekr 007 from competitors.
For example, the rear window is combined with a panoramic roof section: a single surface extends from the central racks to the trunk lid. Another feature is the diode panels of the Zeekr Stargate system located under the front and rear lighting equipment. They are able to display various graphical information like a welcome message when the owner approaches.
A similar LED display system is located in the cabin. Although the rest of the interior of the sedan does not stand out against the background of analogues. In the center of the front panel there is a large screen of the multimedia system, the number of physical buttons and switches is minimized.
The Zeekr 007 sedan became the first model on the PMA2+ platform, although in fact it is only a development of the existing SEA architecture, on which other Zikras are built. This means that the four-door has a two-lever front suspension, a rear multi-link, an 800-volt electrical system, advanced electronics and autopilot. For autonomous driving, three lidars are installed at once, one of which is located above the windshield.
There are two modifications to choose from. The rear—wheel drive sedan has one engine with a capacity of 422 hp. The all-wheel drive version has an additional electric motor with 224 hp installed in front, that is, the total output of the two engines is 646 hp. The maximum speed is in any case limited at 210 km / h, acceleration time to “hundreds” has not been announced, as well as the capacity of the traction battery. But the curb weight is known: 2150 kg and 2280 kg for the two versions, respectively.
Pre-orders for Zeekr 007 sedans in China will be opened at the end of November. Prices will be announced at the same time.
